Choosing plus size sportswear pieces that mix, match, and coordinate can give a plus size boost to your wardrobe. This season find a wide variety of coordinating pieces and exciting bold colors like deep red or orange to mix with neutral colors like black, tan and khaki.

This fall, Jackets are a must-have hot piece for any fashion-conscious female. And, relax, because that doesn't mark out plus size sportswear jackets. Because, they're available in all the trendy fall colors such as plum, pomegranate and spruce; they're made from a breezy cotton/spandex blend, and can be worn with sportswear pants, jeans and cargo pants. If you want conceal the waist and tummy area, be sure to choose a plus size sportswear jacket which comes down to the middle of the hips.

Plus size sportswear tops include the classic shell, trendy racerback tank, and performance tees. This fall you'll be seeing a lot of crackle print shells; a screen print design available in tones of pink, red, purple and black. The cotton/spandex fabric and scoop-neck of the shell design keep the body cool and comfortable. The racerback will let you go from the office to the gym, while the performance tees are a great addition to any plus size sportswear collection. Choose colors that are bright and complementary to your sportswear pants and jacket.

You'll find plus size sportswear pants with waistbands, drawstrings and occasionally, zippers. Plus size sportswear pants are normally constructed from cotton/rayon or cotton/spandex blends. Styles include shorts, capri's, leggings and cargo. Select darker color for plus size sportswear pants and avoid leggings altogether. To elongate your legs, choose plus size sportswear pants that have stripes on the outside of the pant leg.

You can make a strong plus size fashion statement by wearing a hoodie. There are many styles and colors of hoodies available; we recommend a hoodie made of velour, with pants of the same material, to create a look that is elegant yet casual. Hoodies with mesh inserts are great for activities outside, while piping can make a hoodie look sportier. Plus size women should not buy hoodies that pull over the head if they have large busts, but should select hoodies that fall to mid-hip and zip up the front.

Plus size exercise sportswear is also a hot new item that hasn't been available in the past. Finally, plus size women can indulge in trendy work-out clothes, walking/jogging shorts and other active sportswear.

There are new fall lines of plus size yoga sportswear, which larger women who perform yoga regularly will enjoy. The pants are boot-cut, with wider legs and waistbands, made from stretch cotton. A yoga shrug and screen print yoga shell will complete the ensemble, and impress your classmates.
